Training dates:

For new participants:
Please choose 1 classroom session (a weekday) and 1 field session (a Saturday). If you are new to tracking, it will be helpful to you if you attend the classroom session before attending the field session.

Returning participants may attend any of the training sessions they choose, but it is not required.

Survey Trips:

Sign ups for the survey trips tothe Mt Hood National Forest will happen after the trainings are completed.

Children are encouraged to attend. However, children 18 and under must be accompanied by a responsible adult, and they must be able to snowshoe up to one mile. Family trips geared towards families with small children will also be offered during the survey season.

Program Fees:

$50 – new participants

$40 – returning participants

$20 - first child

$10 - second child

Children under 8 are free.

There is a $5 parking fee to park at Oxbow Regional Park, where the field sessions will be held.
